A Time For Healing

April 27, 2020

As you know I am in Bali. I haven’t been doing too much because everything is closed down, tourist wise. My purpose of this trip was to visit six particular places and feel the energy vibes as they are sort of like vortex’s here in Bali; supposedly like Sedona Arizona. Universe clearly has other plans for me…

I have been getting all wrapped up in everyone else’s shenanigans and haven’t been focusing on mine. Sure I meditate and work out and eat better than I ever have before. I am doing much self care but I came here for the energy. I have been staying in and not going out very much except for the weekends. I have visited some new beautiful places but haven’t been sitting and feeling the energy as much as I would like.

A friend of mine, Kim, asked me if I have seen any healers yet. When I first got here I went straight to the mountains and it was heaven on earth. When I came down from the mountains I was to go to Cambodia and that got cancelled. I was ok with that, I had to be. But then I started thinking of my Visa and how I could extend my visa during this crisis. Everyone wanted me to come home, ok not everyone, just family. I understood why but my heart and soul said otherwise.

From that point till now, I had been not listening to my highest self. I have been listening to my intuition but that’s why we have amazing people in our lives to remind us why we are here. Thank you Kim for reminding me of what I needed to do.

I found a Balinese healer named Cokorda Rai. I was doing some research and his name popped up a few times. They say he does not do appointments and he opens his doors at 9. People line up to see him and supposedly he only sees people for 2-5 minutes and moves on to the next. They said to get there early. I was so super excited.

As most of you know I am a Reiki master and understand how energy moves and works through the body. I immediately contacted my driver Rai and set it up with him to pick me up and take me there. Apparently, Rai lives 5 mins away from him in Ubud. I am in Seyminak which is about 1 hour away.

We made plans for him to pick me up at 8 am. I was so excited, Kim had sent me that morning a link to Gaia TV- 6th Floor: Expanding Possibility. It was 30 mins of amazing awareness. I watched it and knew I was on the right path. Ever more excited I attempted to go to sleep.

I don’t think I slept but for 4 hours, do to much excitement. I got up and got ready and met Rai outside for 8am. We were off.

When we pull in to the compound, there is only one woman doing morning offerings. Rai spoke with the young woman and showed us to an area. We walk up and sat down on the cement while we waited.

Cokorda Rai’s Healing Space

She came back out and asked me questions about my health and where I’ve been, she had told me to go wash my hands and wait. I did as told and nervous because Rai wasn’t even sure that he would do any healings because of corona. The young lady came back out and said we just have to make sure because my father is very old. I said absolutely.

Another woman helped Cokorda out to where we were sitting and helped him sit. Just the sight of him I felt overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. This amazing man whom I have never met is going to tell me whatever I need to know in this very moment and assist me in releasing it. Whether it’s actually him and his mudras or he is just a conduit, either way, WOW…

He calls me forward. I stand before him, he speaks ever so softly and he asks for my name. He asked me what I have a problem with, I told him nothing, that I was going to see what you thought. He told me to sit with my back against him and in front of him. So I did. He touch all over my head, shoulders and arms. He said in my right ear, pain. Left ear good. Right ear pain, no happiness. (thinking back as I write this maybe I was mistaking happiness for gratitude. I am very grateful for every moment I’m in but maybe not happy. Regardless it’s all been released and is gone now.)

He then told me to lay down on the ground. So I moved to the floor where I wasn’t sure what was going to happen. He moved his hands all over my body in motions as to unstick energy. Then he sits me up and shows me how to move. He guides me to do it myself and we sat there doing it together. He then whispers in my ear, love is coming, be patient.

We do several more rounds of releasing energy. When we were finished, he looks at me and says every time you look in the mirror, laugh and scoop up your laughter and eat it. You stay happy. I said easy, I can do that…I honestly loved the idea of that. So we practiced.

When finished he sits back down on his chair and asks me to come over. You come back again, love is on it’s way…

I stook up and thanked him for his service and Rai and I walked away. As we were walking Rai looked at me in disbelief. He said he never sits with people for that long, maybe 2-5 mins. You sat with him for 10-20 mins. I don’t recall because there was no such thing in those moments.

Rai then turned to me again and said you have good karma, they aren’t even open because of everything. But he was willing to see you. I had to sit for a minute before getting in the car because of the way my body felt and for the sheer fact of overwhelming gratitude.

The best way to describe the way my body felt was like my insides were vibrating at a very high level starting from my solar plexus and throughout the day went all the way up through my crown chakra. I felt light headed, dizzy, clear. It was the feeling I had after having my first Reiki session with my friend Cathy.

I needed time to feel and reflect. I was hoping there would be a space to do such things but I was with my driver Rai and I was an hour away from home. I wasn’t ready to go home either. Funny, as I sit here writing about it, I can feel the energies within and feel the way I did yesterday.

Rai drove me around, we stopped at a couple of temples and one I got to sit and be with for some time. So I did exactly that. I sat and felt and prayed in front of the temple. Not sure what I was praying for but I felt that, that’s what I needed to do. I took some pictures and we moved on.

The next Temple we stopped at is a famous Temple Batuan (sounds like batwan). I could only see so much as the gates were closed. But I took pictures anyways. It was beautiful and amazing. Just like all of them.

Rai decided we were gonna go check out the waterfall anyways. We knew it was closed but he thought that we might be able to actually see it anyways, even from a distance. So off we were. Sure enough we found it and we drove to as far as we could. Thankfully he is local, so we were able to walk down to where all the restaurants were. In that very moment I was sad that I never got a picture on a swing. When we got to the vista point I took some pictures and Rai called out to me and pointed…There was a wicker seat that is like the swings but stationary. I was totally stoked. I sat there and enjoyed the view in my little wicker seat. Took it all in.

We then decided it was time to head back. It was still morning time. Rai said he was going to take me through Kuta, so I asked him if this little spot in Sanur was on the way. He said sure, I wanted to pick up another sarong (which BTW is pronounced sa-roong). When we pull up to the spot, they were open.

I get out of the vehicle and I honestly have no idea how this happened but my right thumb got stuck in the door. I have no idea, I pulled it out and looked at it…It was getting creepier and creepier by the millisecond. I ran into the cafe and begged for ice. They brought some out and I was almost in tears. I stopped and practiced my breathing, but it didn’t help. I busted out some Reiki while standing there and held my thumb in between my hands. One of the guys was like omg, you need to go see the doctor, he’s next door. I looked at him and gave him a half laugh. Knowing they couldn’t do anything for me.

I then decided to hurry up and look for what I wanted. The young lady came over to help me open them up so I could see all the patterns. I ended up walking away with 2. I got back in the car and we drove home. Rai had no idea what happened. I was still in shock.

I get home and look up what that meant. I mean really I just saw the healer and this happens maybe an hour later???? I have mentioned in past blogs that when I have a situation I usually look it up by typing in, spiritual meaning of…

Right Thumb (The Healer’s Ocean Forum: Minor Chakra Meaning: thumb, right)
Keywords: will power, will to receive something.

Short explanation:
the will to receive something (help, favor, care, recognition, love, money…)
is in a subtle way not allowed to be recognized or expressed

For a more detailed look..check out his link. Pretty on point. Jeez…

So, after reading that and trying to sit with self and assist in the healing of my thumb I realized that I need to be more assertive in my actions and become more aware of these particular aspects…the willingness to receive.

Ok, it’s still early in the day, time to nap on that…

But then a few days later, I stub my left big toe. Oh jeez…the Universe is really yelling at me. That means, sit and be still. It is your ether toe, you spiritual connection. Oh boy…

Ok, so now I have my work cut out for me, no pun intended. Today I sat woke up and watched a facebook live with my friend Cathy. She channels Rosemary. I was inspired by her words and actions so much so that I decided I would try channeling. I let her know what I was going to do and of course I had all the support.

After I texted her I went upstairs and sat upright, put my awesome headphones on and listened to some binaural beats for channeling on youtube. I was in it, I was told that I am not ready (sad face). Instead we talked and I asked some questions and after a while the Divine Consciousness told me to go buy a plant and come back later. I was like, ok.

I went out and found a plant at a place that translates to mighty flora. Flora is the name of my one of my higher aspects of self, pretty cool. Anyways, I ended up buying a Jasmine plant and it has 2 buds on it.

I brought it home and I decided to wait till sunset to meditate again. When I finally did, they told me that when the buds start to bloom I will be ready. Until then, come back every morning and evening. I got so excited so. I feel that my flowers will at least begin to bloom by the next full moon, which is the Flower SuperMoon; May 6th. We shall see.

Love, Light and Healing

Bali Day 7

Today I woke up and I was tired. I got out of bed at 530am. I was awake at 445 but I was tired. I think subconsciously my energy was sad that we were leaving the most beautiful place I have ever been too. My emotions were heavy hearted.

I got up and finished packing and the girls made me a delicious breakfast as usual. I showered and laid down in bed until about 915 because my driver, Rai was to come and pick me up at 930. I just laid there resting my eyes and couldn’t sleep, so I got up at 915 and to my demise my driver was sitting downstairs hanging out on his phone. Gratefully he hadn’t been waiting long at all.

I gave him a tour of the treehouse, said my see you laters to the girls and we went on our way. We made a few pitstops on the way to Kuta. The first being immigration office, as the world is shutting down I need to know what I can do to stay. I went to the one in the north, I knew that one would not be busy at all. The one in Kuta, that would be crazy busy. Rai took me and helped me figure out how to get seen. I waited patiently as I only had 3 people in front of me. Whe I finally got up there they told me there was a restriction till March 30th. So I plan on making my plans and then calling back on the 31st. And see if they have lifted the restrictions. Otherwise they say I need to leave by April 9th. That is not going to happen. I am supposed to be here and I’m just gonna go with the flow. Everything always works out…

After we left there we went to Gigit Waterfalls. It was very beautiful but nothing compared to the Blue Lagoon and the waterfalls there after. Rai didn’t come on the tour with me, which I was bummed by because he’s cool and extremely helpful. I had another guide who was cool, Ketut.

As I have been here for a week, I have learned that Ketut means that the person named Ketut was the fourth born. The first is Gday (Gede), second is Kadek, third born is Komong and the fourth is Ketut.

Our walk to the waterfall was short and sweet, however it is well over commercialized and what I mean is that there are so many little shops on the way down and back up and they will not stop harassing you. I say that because we walked by so many women and children trying to sell me stuff (as I was basically the only one there, due to corona virus). After we walked by so many apparently we came up on his own family’s shop and said to me, if you decide to buy something then we would appreciate your business. I told him I didn’t need anything but I would love to help out, as everyone is hurting for business.

When we get to the waterfall, breathtaking. So beautiful, it was too chilly and about to rain to actually get in the water. I just wanted to take some pictures and sit back and enjoy it. He asked to take pictures of me, which was something I do’t hear like ever and was hesitant by his words. But I gave in and was totally stoked to have someone take a picture of me. My last guide did too and I was glad for that. However I am not an instagram photogenic person. I’m so used to being behind the camera, so when the time came for pics I stood there awkwardly. lol. It’s fine…something I am going to work on…

As we made our trek back he reminded me that his family’s shop was right here so I decided to look around anyways. Knowing I need nothing, a woman can always find something. And I did. I found a beautiful batik sarong purple and gold…I saw it and said I LOVE that. she tried selling me pants and a tank top which I knew I did not need. I kept looking and saw bags. I actually did need a bag so I didn’t have to continue to take my backpack everywhere. I began to make a pile. Which included the honesty fruit tea, mangosteen and tumeric. I wanted to make the same drink the girls were making me at the treehouse (I call them girls because they are young and this was there first job). I finish my pile and I ask how much, she tells me 900k rps. Which I’ve been here for a week and know that is way too much. I tell her I only have a certain amount. she kept on, I said no thank you and tried to walk out. Apparently everyone but me knows not to buy anything when going to places like that. I really thought I was helping his family, but then she got aggressive. I said 200k and that is that. She gave it to me because I was probably going to be the only tourist feeding into her. Meaning, that would be the only money she makes that day and with everything going on, probably the only money she will make for a while. I wasn’t trying to be rude but 900k is criminal.

We finally got back to the car and I was so happy to see Rai! We left the mountain in a heavy down pour. Still saw monkeys and dogs all over the road. Our next stop was supposed to be the rice terraces but it was raining buckets and there was no way we were getting out to walk around. So he took me to this restaurant that over looked rice terraces. Wow…and we got to stay dry. For me, that was priceless. Sure it would’ve been amazing to go see but It was cold rain. We had a buffet and I had a glass of wine. They say that when you have a driver that takes you distance like that, it’s customary to buy them lunch. I definitely have no problem doing that. He’s been super amazing. He took me to all these amazing places and didn’t add the detours to the bill.

Again, pouring buckets we pull up to the famous candi bentar, in front of the golf course. He was telling me that normally there is a line about an hour long just to take a picture. We pulled up and I shot a picture from the car. Not the same but for me it’s all about my eyes seeing beauty, not necessarily the camera. It was beautiful, but they are literally everywhere in Bali. So I didn’t feel guilty for not getting out and taking an instagram pic.

We then went to this beautiful temple on the water, Ulun Danu Beratan Temple. Wow, incredible. Again I was told that there is usually no parking and the wait is more than an hour, normally. Today, it was empty according to Rai. We walked around and took some pictures and then it started down pouring. Everyone ran for cover. I had my nice camera out so Rai and both ran too. We all huddled under the canopy where they prepare their offerings. I sat there looking at all the offerings, ducks, chickens, and others. I asked how they do it and during the ceremony they slit their throats.

It slowly stopped down pouring but was still raining. Rai and I both agreed that we were not going to melt in the rain so we walked out and took some more pictures. On our way out I wanted a picture between the candi bentar. My phone had died so Rai was pulling out his phone for me and while that was happening a group of women from Jakarta jumped in the center and started taking pictures. I was standing watching them and they looked at me and motioned me to come in the picture with them. I laughed and was so happy too. I got in the picture and we all went our separate ways. Rai told me that they were from Jakarta and they were going to go home and tell everyone how excited they were to take a picture with a foreigner. I had no idea… but I love it. He said because nobody is here, they haven’t seen many tourists.

We continued on our journey to Kuta. It was a beautiful drive, through the country side and through all the villages. We entered the city and I knew it. The energy, the air and so many people. I was taken back and I guess not ready to leave the mountains. I miss it a lot.

We made it to the hotel and Rai and I looked at each other and we were like, wow this place is fancy! Lol. We went our separate ways once again. I went to my room, 108=9. Loved it, except that the tv was on and it was crazy loud. I immediately turned it off, and laid down. I was so tired. I was to meet a fellow GLT’r for dinner somewhere in the evening. So I took a nap for 40 mins and got dressed and ready to go.

I downloaded the GoJek app and was on my way. GoJek is the Uber of Indonisia, only they have motor bikes and cars. I ordered a bike. My third ride of my journey. We met at a spot called Lia Cafe. Literally on the beach. It was awesome and she was cool. I loved meeting her from a facebook group! That was awesome. In order to get back to we had to walk down the street to the main road and only then can we order a gojek. I finally found my driver, or actually he found me.

Made it back to the hotel and sat by the pool for a bit longer and went to bed. I so appreciated the air conditioning and the clean bed I was about to dive into.

Bali Day 6

Waking at 4am this morning was not cool, but in lieu of everything going on in the world I decided to do some research. I found more places closing and decided that I am going to have to stay in Bali! oh darn…

I called home to see what my parents found out, as I delegated some tasks of research. We found the number to the embassy and my dad emailed them in regards to my situation. I shared with my parents my thoughts on everything and let it all go. After all, today is my last day and I want to enjoy every second I have left here.

Passion Fruit, Mangosteen Fruit, Snakeskin Fruit, Rambutan Fruit

I had an appointment at 8am for a reiki session from a dear friend Cathy Abeyta in California. I laid down on the napping bed and we facebook video chat. We went through all the chakras and found out some pretty amazing things. I released so much that was no longer needed. Quite honestly I’m not sure what was released and I don’t need to know. I felt so much lighter, like a feather taken by the wind. It was amazing. So blessed to have had such a shift while here in this magical place. We pulled cards, asking a question about my situation with the visa, Universe has plans for me and I need not worry. She validated everything I knew and was feeling.

Feeling blissful, I reach out to Vipin. We were going to go to the waterfalls for one last hoorah. Even the girls came with us, it was so fun. We trekked down a hidden trail and this time I wore my hiking shoes. Glad I did. Another day in paradise as we approached the waterfall. We were a group 5. We were the only ones there for a few minutes.

Tours started to come in and so did the couple that came to Wavi the day before, my neighbors. We all played in the water, skipped some rocks and watched people take all their instagram photos. Yuni built some of her rock formations and everyone was having a grand time. We were the last to leave this beautiful place and in perfect timing as it started to sprinkle. Which would eventually turn into a down pour.

When we got back Vipin was going to head out to another village to stay for a few nights. So we said our see you laters and went our separate ways.

I went and packed everything I could, I figure I will get up at 5 anyways, and pack the rest. I will be sad to leave here. I found out that everything in this little village is closing too. I will be picked up at 930am and head to Kuta. I was going to Kuta so I would be closer to the airport. But now I am not going to Cambodia so I get to actually start planning my trip; sort of. I have a list of places I was intending on going so when I get to Kuta I can take a look and map it out.

But first thing first, Thursday morning I will go to the immigration office and figure out what is going on; and take it from there. In the meantime, a fellow GLT’r (Girls Love Travel) is in Bali as well. We planned to meet for dinner tomorrow night somewhere. So I will contact her when I get down there and see what we can make happen.

Blessed

I hope wherever you are in this World, I pray that you are safe and kind to others. Everyone has their own version of whats going on and their own feelings towards the events that are taking place.

Be loving and compassionate as you only have this very moment…

Bali Day 4

I went to bed at 830pm, so you can only imagine what time I got up. I finally decided to get out of bed at 530, I had been wide awake for the past 45 mins. Sunrise isn’t till 630ish so I figured I would move slow till then.

I rolled open the mat and did some stretches and then meditated. When I came to, you could see the sky brightening by the second. I sat here watching it grow brighter and brighter. Everything was wet so I was looking upon a beautiful sparkling forest.

I saw the ladies come pull in and decided it was time to shower, I was to leave at 8am on a trek to 5 waterfalls with a guide. I wanted to be ready when he showed up so we could get going. He arrived promptly and we began our adventure. It costs typically 400,000 Rupiah for a single person and 250,000 for two. Today i paid 350,000 which equals out to $23.90 USD. I was totally fine paying that, I don’t have waterfalls and surroundings like these where I live.

We hopped on his motorbike and headed out. Mind you I asked the girls what kind of shoes to wear, silly me, everyone here only wear sandals. LOL, so here i go in my flip flops. I was slightly nervous about the scooter thing only because I’ve seen the way people drive around here. They know how to do it but being on the back, hmmm. Anyways we went up this huge hill just to come back down, the road is so tiny 1 car and 1 motorbike can fit on this road at the same time. We get to this spot and he parks. I was like wow, that’s cool we are already here. I specifically asked about real hiking, everyone denied that. Joke was on me because we hiked.

I didn’t mind hiking in my flop flops but I would have done things slightly different. Anyways I was so involved soaking it all in I really didn’t take many pictures while hiking. Everything was so green and lush. The end of march, beginning of april is end of rainy season. So some areas were slippery but nothing I couldn’t handle.

We walked through old back roads with homes along the way. Everything was so pretty, even if it were run down or animals everywhere it was all still so beautiful. I loved every second of that hike to the waterfalls. We stopped and had a little rest on the way there. I was given a young coconut to drink and then when I was done we cut it open and I ate the inside. So good. Even played this instrument…

We continued on the journey and made our way to the Blue Lagoon. Which is the first of 5 waterfalls I was going to see today. Little did I know they were all connected and my guide would have to get a ride back to his motorbike later. We started from the top and worked our way down. Blue Lagoon being the first.

It was like i was watching virtual reality, you see these places in movies. I was there. And that made it even more special for me. I pulled out my camera and took some pictures. I then sat down on a rock and meditated for a bit while my guide sat else where and played on his phone. grateful to be uninterrupted and no one but us there. I was totally taken back by her beauty.

When I was ready he asked me if I was going to get in and I said no. It was chilly and honestly it was so beautiful I feel like it would have been a disruption to her nature. It looked so pure and beautiful. And so we moved on.

Aling Aling falls were the next. It was very beautiful, we walked right up to another guide who was waiting for his couple to come back up. They were down there taking photos for Instagram- as in boyfriend taking pictures of his girlfriend in a bathing suit. It was cute and funny. I’m just so glad no one asked me to take any pictures! hahaha… There wasn’t much space to walk down there so I decided I’m cool, lets go to the next. We get to the next one, the first jump- 5 meters. He asked me if I was going to jump. I said no and so we just sat there and took some photos and people showed up. So we watched them think about jumping and then finally jumping- quite hilarious. We go down to see the next jump (still not jumping) and it is about a 10 meter jump. Still no. But again watching people. Then we went followed that all the way down to the last one which is a 15 meter. I watch someone jump off before heading to the bottom and swimming in it. It was magical and cold. Not freezing but I also prefer not to swim alone. So I jumped in and swam for a few seconds and then got out and got dressed.

What goes up must go down and vice versa. I kept telling him how grateful I was to not have to go back the same way we came. Because that trek was challenging in flip flops. But I spoke way to soon, all the stairs…ok here it is. Imagine you are at the top of a waterfall and you hike down to the bottom- of 5 waterfalls- then walk back up at least halfway to get back to main roads. But for the record we did not start anywhere near the waterfall. It seemed quite far away to get to. I think they do it that way to get the hours in that you pay for. Don’t really know but I was grateful for it. I got to see some beautiful things that i wouldn’t have if I had chosen a different package.

Happy Feet

We make it back to the house and we go our separate ways. By this time it’s not even noon. I am so grateful because as we were coming out of the forest, so many groups of people were on their way in. We left at the most perfect timing. I got back and sat in the sun to help dry my clothes I was wearing. Laid in the hammock on the water for a bit and decided I was going to nap. I go upstairs to my outdoor bed and lay down. I’m down for like 30 mins. I couldn’t sleep so I ended up just laying there.

I get up because I can no longer just lay there and I go visit my new friend Vipin. We hung out at his little abode for a short time and talked about everything positive. That was so refreshing. I am beyond grateful for his words.

We talked for a while longer and I left to go shower as I was covered in sweat and river. The combo washed off my citronella soap. So I got bit once. By then dinner was ready for me and I was so grateful because I was famished. I had chicken fried rice with 1 fried egg on top, fruit and turmeric, ginger, honey, and something else that makes me feel good.

It was fantastic! As was my entire day. My legs are going to feel great tomorrow!

Filled with so much gratitude…

Blessed

Bali Day 3

6 am Ready to go

A full 8 hours of sleep…I felt glorious this morning when I woke up at 5am. Making sure I was showered and dressed ready to go by 8. I had breakfast at 7, Ketut made me delicious breakfast again. Fixed with tempeh, tofu, hard boiled egg, potatoes, green beans, carrots and more delicious fruit with some amazing peanut sauce (slightly spicy).

Breakfast

I was heading up to my dream spot. The only place I had planned for my entire trip was this treehouse in Sukasada, northern Bali. Originally I wanted to stay for a week and then I was only able to get 3 days. I was willing to take anything. If you saw the pictures I saw, you know why. It’s my birthday and this is really the most special stay for me.

I left Ubud with Rai and we drove 2.5 hours north on all kinds of roads. Went through many little villages and passed so many little fruit stands on the side of the road. It was quite breathtaking. I was soaking it all in. We left so early because it’s a 2 lane road all the way here and if there are buses on the road, they slow up traffic. So we left at 8 and honestly I’m not even sure when we arrived.

The road to get to this place is very tiny. Somehow Rai made it down the first road. We looked at each other and down the tiny little path and he says, thats the end of the road for me. lol. So I grabbed all my goodies and walked carefully down the path.

As I walked onto the property my body began to feel at ease, even with all the weight I was carrying, I felt as light as a feather. I stopped and took it all in, the smells, the sounds, the air…literally breathtaking.

The lovely ladies here showed me my space…WOWWWWWW! Straight from a movie, It’s seriously like a dream, I am very much living a dream right now. This place is like magic. I never want to leave this place, like never ever…

I dropped off all my belongings and went back downstairs to finish the tour. A gentleman, Vipin, whom has been staying here for about a year now. I know why…I mean really. We talked and I ate another breakfast, omelette and fruit and a watermelon juice.

I then made all my calls so that I can go off grid for the rest of the day. I was on the phone with my sister and my phone was so hot it shut off in the middle of our conversation. So I put my phone in the fridge to cool down for a few minutes. I plugged it in and went straight to the water. They have a hammock hanging over the stream to enjoy. So I climbed right on in and meditated. It was heaven. Then I decided it was nap time. So I came upstairs and laid on the outside bed. Not sure how long I was there for but it was cozy.

When I got up I remembered I had laundry to do. I took everything to the bathroom sink and washed and then laid outside to dry. Before I knew it, it was time for dinner. I had the ladies make me chicken curry. So good with white rice and watermelon water.

Today was more for me and getting situated, not trying to work or get big things done. Just be. And that is exactly what I did.

About 730pm the ladies were leaving the property and wished me well. Vipin had already made his way back to his cozy corner and I sat outside all alone on this beautiful property. Taking it all in, the insects, birds, bats, water, everything was new to me and quite delightful. I eventually made it to bed at 830pm; crazy, but I was tired. Wrapped the bug net around the bed and off to lala land for this one…

Blessed…
